Its a bit hard to get to, without any public transportation. Without the Caballo de Paso show, I would say no worth the trip because you can find equally as delicious food in trujillo for less money. However, if you are already out there, the food is very delicious and the drinks are good too. The service was not the best.

We went to this restaurant to see the show of the "Caballos Peruanos de Paso". We were with a big group and everybody enjoyed their meal. A few plates which stood out:
- Picante de Langostinos (big prawns in a very mild spicy sauce)
- Ceviche
- Conejo Al Vino Tinto (I think it was called, rabbit with red wine sauce)
- Lomo fino (Came as a free side dish)
- Seco de Cabrito ('Dry' goat, which isn't dry)

Side not: The show with the horses used to be free for the visitors of the restaurant, This isn't the case anymore. The show is now on the back of the restaurant and not on the front anymore, You have to pay 30 soles p.p. to see it. Children normally pay 10 soles, but they let them enter for free.) I think this is a big mistake. Both the restaurant as the performers could benefit if the visitors of the restaurant can see the show. I definitely would like combine eating and watching the show. Strange decision. For more info about the See the reviews about the horse show, see the "Caballos Peruanos de Paso y Marinera" reviews.

My family and I recently traveled to Trujillo, Peru to visit the local pre-inca ruins. While there we enquired about the famous "Caballos de Paso" (Paso Fino horses), and our guide referred us to the Asociacion de Caballos de Paso, where shows are held on a daily basis. He also told us we could get "something to eat" at their local restaurant, Palo Marino. "Something to eat" is a major understatement. The locale is very welcoming, there are plenty of grass areas for little ones to run around, service is excellent, and the food was worth making a return visit (which we did!!!). The variety of local dishes, the freshness of the seafood, and the flavor of everything we ate was SUPERB! And the horse show was just as amazing!
