I’ve booked this hotel on Booking.com and since I cannot review it there and customer service has not gotten back to me on why I can only upload pictures on the the app, I will review this hotel here.

Hotel dynasty is not a bad hotel. It is really 3-star in its name - well 2.5-star per TripAdvisor - and you will get what you pay for. Both the staff and the breakfast are okay. The location is not bad because is near metro and it’s a short trip to the tourist areas.

However, the hotel loses 2 stars all due to the airport transport.

The 1st star lost is because they didn’t have a airport transfer. They did contact me to say that something went wrong, but because of that I had to find my own transportation because I had to meet a friend at a certain time. I tried Uber but not knowing about the GPS jammers and the slow network, I thought the driver was lost and I went with some private driver. Due to a miscommunication of the cost, we got into an argument. But the worst taxi ride was being ripped off by an Azerbaijani taxi who charge me $122 for a 20 minute taxi ride. I admit I misunderstood in this calculated what I thought the cost would be. I was so angry after that taxi ride, but you know what I had to suck it up because it’s life. I was not going to go and make useless complaints about it.

But that expensive taxi ride is not why the hotel loses their 2nd star.

The hotel loses a 2nd star because of the airport transport. The hotel called a taxi. I was a little surprise because I thought they had their own airport shuttle. And I was not overcharged like I was by the Azerbaijani taxi company, but however; the driver almost took me to the wrong airport!

So, at the next traffic jam (which Moscow has a lot of), I told the driver that I need to go to the other airport. So he did a U-turn getting me there on time - because I requested the shuttle to an hour earlier to not risk missing my flight due to being stuck in Moscow traffic.

For budget traveling, this hotel is good. But please, try to avoid taking a taxi in Moscow! There is an airport train and metro, which can be overwhelming, but you won’t have a bitter taste about Moscow due to an expensive Azerbaijani taxi. And if planning a trip around Moscow, double the time your GPS estimates so that you will get to your destination on time.
