This is a unique hotel in my experience. The building itself is an antique, as are many facets within. The public areas are beautiful in their own right and interesting to explore. The staff displays an esprit de corps from top to bottom. The service here is formal and respectful.
There was a musician playing piano in the lobby every afternoon and a another playing the harp during breakfast.
The breakfast buffet is the finest quality and widest variety I have ever seen.
The rooms are plain by comparison. But they are roomy and all areas are in good repair.
