Never before have I experienced such a willing to help and offer the best service , despite language difficulties (not so much English speaking). Clean rooms, quiet rooms, no music in the breakfast area finally. We came to hotel at 1:00 am and they asked if we were hungry opened the restaurant just for us and showed us happily to the breakfast area in person when she wasn't sure that we could find our way there just by given instruction.

The old Soviet hotel was reconstructed in modern. Location is dirty suburban district without any entertainment. My room was pretty clean, but I met some small beatles. I was there in hot weather and without air-conditioning it was quite troubled.

Spent one night here whilst driving across Russia. We had researched the cost of the hotel at booking.com but the receptionist quoted a price that was an additional 1,000 rubles. She wouldn't match the online price, so I used the hotel's free wifi to get online and book via booking.com.

The hotel room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable - which was unusual based on our experience of Russian hotels. The hotel also had a spacious car park.

I needed to get some laundry done but it was too late to get the hotel staff to do it. The receptionist allowed me access to the washing machine so that I could do my own laundry for a modest fee (although there was no dryer available).

We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and managed to select something decent from the all-Russian menu (none of the staff speaks English).

Dear guest,
Thank you for choosing hotel Aurora! The hotel team is working to make the service even better. During the month it is planned to update the menu to be in English. Thank you for your review and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as this one.
Best regards, Moskvina Natalia

the plus: beautiful, clean, modern, comfortable rooms with many facilities, nice view at the river especially at dawn, relaxing matresses, polite personnel, and the top: a very rich, fresh breakfast of big variety and good quality.
the minus: away from the city center, not english-speaking receptionists (but trying to help...)
