Stayed here for 3 nights in a row during the Easter period.
Excellent location, smacked right in the middle of a walking street near the "Zhonglou" aka "Clock Tower" Metro Station. Has all the basics, almost like a basic ibis, cleans your room daily, all the needed amenities, with basic toiletries, towels, hairdryer, tv, slippers, wifi. No fridge but this is not a biggie for me.

Also just a 5 min walk away to nearby Walmart, very convenient if you want to stock up on water or supplies for a Mount Hua day trip. Another 5-10 min will get you to the Clock and Drum Tower and the eating street near the Muslim Quarters. The main road also has a number of bus services, we took one of the bus which directly brought us to the train station, where you can find the bus to the Terracotta Army.

Definitely a value for money choice if you are not particular about service.

Clean room: Tick
Softish Bed: Tick
Good Location: Tick

Good value to top it all off. Great location for touring around xian and access to the metro. Lots of western style places around if you need a junk food hit :) only downside is it was busy and the room was pretty smoky so no chance of a swap.

Hotel Location within Xi'An is excellent. it's within walking distance of almost all main attraction inside the City Wall. It's also very near multiple shopping malls and restaurants. We liked the "Jingdu Qianwei" restaurant that you'll find going East towards South Street, and in the same street the small shop/restaurant with lots of post-it on its walls that sells strange but excellent chinese pudding (I don't know the name !).

And it's a 10 min walk to the bus stop for the Airport.

The room is basic but globally clean. Breakfast is also basic, and for the price I suggest you take it outside where there's plenty of choice like the nearby "bread talk".

The main drawback is the noise. Indeed the pedestrian street outside can be noisy so aim for the higher floor. Unfortunately, it's nothing compared with the noise other people in the hotel can make. On the same floor, there was a family who booked 3 rooms and they kept talking and going from one room to the other. It was difficult for us to sleep. You might get luckier though, but be prepared just in case and don't hesitate to ask for a room change.

Room Tip: less noise on the higher floor

Hotel location is superb for free and easy tourist. It is so convenient as it situated at the pedestrian street surrounded by shopping mall, shops, super market, bakery and restaurant. Subway and public bus stop are about 5 minutes walk from hotel whereas airport bus stop is about 10 minutes. Visitor place like Drum Tower, Bell Tower, Moslem Street and Ming City Wall are within walking distance. The room is basic but cleanliness is accepatable. The problem of the room are bathroom is too small and water pressure is not sufficient. The hotel rate is reasonable with its superb location.

Room Tip: Try not to book room at highest floor as it don’t have lift to highest floor.

Great location in the centre of town along the pedestrian street. Taxis cannot go to the door so you need to haul your suitcase a little bit from the main street. Although noisy during the day with loudspeakers blasting in the plaza next door, it quiets down well before bedtime. Room was generally clean except some dirty corners and stains in the bathroom. Furniture made from cheap materials and are starting to show their wear and tear. Hot water pressure was weak with a slow trickle coming from the shower head. But for under CNY 200 a night it's great value for money.
