Unfortunately, we found a thin bamboo stick the length of 6 inches inside their so called famous "hokkien mee". Thank goodness we spotted it early. After we complain, it was taken away. No sorry from waitress. She Came back later with replacement after like 15min. What a put off!! I was half way thru my dinner & suddenly stomach had to wait. Btw, we couldnt finish the noodle later because we were full by drinking tea. No free complimentary deserts/discount/apology/voucher was given other than the full bill.
Oh... our table didnt have a single sauce plates. So people, watchout for foreign objects in your food there...

We thought Reunion would be good - being run by the same people who came up with Delicious, Dish & Ben's. Huge let down (food below average). On a Monday night, the place was less than half full, there were 3 sections from what I can see.. one is brightly lit with mirrors (doesn't look & feel nice there) and the other one is dimmer surrounded by curtains and another one is similar but with bigger tables. We chose to sit at the table for 2 at the cosy curtained section. There are 2 types of chairs there, I like the one with the pvc leather, they should have more of those. Prices somewhere in the middle but for the quality of food you get, I would say it is bad value. Service is polite but not very well trained, they didn't make us feel uncomfortable though. Come here if you want very mediocre chinese food in a cosy setting (curtained section). The entrance could have been designed in a more welcoming fashion instead of the mirrors which looked odd.

Ok - so we turned up a little late at lunchtime, but this was a lunch that we did not enjoy at all.

Our table location was not so great (behind a curtain, stuck on our own (what's with the 'we can't put you on a table set out for 4 if you are only 2' thing? Especially when the restaurant is only half full? We need to learn to be a bit more vocal obviously).

Then we were told that 'the lunch noodle and rice dishes were not available until after Chinese New Year' (but we could buy the more expensive dishes that seemed to involve exactly the same ingredients). We gave up on that argument.

I ordered a glass of wine - but an empty glass (seriously!) turned up! 10 minutes later (and a complaint) the wine turned up.

We ordered some dim sum - which were OK. The soy chicken turned up tasting like chicken rubber - and the accompanying plain rice was cold.

Service was bad and slow.

Very disappointing.

If you want to visit this restaurant (we won't), I would take some local friends with you - I am sure that they would not put up with the service we suffered.

Food is inconsistent but I like the steamed chicken, the yam and the beancurd.
