Location: a 5 minute walk from both Pavilion shopping centre and Prince Court hospital, while easy to reach from the motorway (meaning you do not have to go through Bukit Bintang hell to get there).
Design: Malaysian traditional architecture on the outside, Asian glitz 5 hotel styling and spaces on the inside.
Room: Nothing extraordinary, but everything works fine. My room had a window from which I could watch the pouring rain outside splatter on the red-tiled roof just below, nice and homely.
Breakfast: big Asian and Western buffet-style, all the classics are there. Not high culinary art, but it serves the purpose perfectly.
Service: fortunately a can-do attitude and friendliness are standard, but as this is a big hotel, service unfortunately tends to be slow at some times. I for example had to wait and call twice until I got my power adapter delivered to the room.
Conclusion: I would definitely stay here again: service and quality are what you should expect from 5 star (without being especially memorable though) - but its location makes this hotel a winner.
