“Nice Hotel Good Location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2012

The Apple is a nice place to stay, be sure of seeing the rooms before checking in, some are small other even smaller, like a state rooms in a ship with big windows over the city. Having said that, the hotel is comfortable and modern. Located down town near fancy shops like Gucci and Zara and many restaurants. Good place for your Kuala Lumpur trip

We stayed in this hotel shortly after it opened and so had a 50% discount on the room cost. On this basis, we had a great deal and it was worth every penny. The rooms are small but mostly quite clean with a good power shower which was nice. The design is very modern. Each room has a flat screen but it was a bit pointless for us as it was only tuned in to pick up 2/3 asian language channels. You have to get water for tea/coffee etc from the hallway which is a bit of a pain, especially as by mid range standards in KL, this hotel isn't particuarly cheap. Whilst bedding etc was extremly clean some of the communal hallways etc were not. This might just be fall out from the final building works but there were visible dust marks on the floor and debris from the builders.

In room safety deposit boxes provided. There are lifts so if you have any mobility problems this is probably one of the cheaper more accessible options. Hotel staff are friendly and a great help in arranging a late check out etc but slightly 'relaxed' in their assessment of time. We only just made our flight after a relaxed approach to taxi booking!

The big bonus of Le Apple is the location. Perfectly situated for the metro and for exploring Bukit Bintang.

If we were in KL and could get a room for the price we paid this time, I would book without hesitation but on full price rates I think this hotel is probably over expensive for what it is.

房间太小了,地点很好,放便。服务不错。价钱公道,房间厕所清洁。房间还有free wifi,air cond很冷。不过晚上在酒店前面会有点复杂,吵闹。

I stayed here for one night during feb & found that the hotel was extremely easy to get to after getting off the monorail at bukit bintang. The staff were friendly & checked me in straight away. My room was extremely modern. Small, but exactly what I needed. I had a single bed with a large tv, desk & nice bath room. Air con was good in the room! Free wifi in room which was great too. My bed was very coumfy & overall I had a pleasant stay here. Also extremely close to the pavilion shopping centre & lot 10 shopping centre.

Traveling solo I stayed for 4 nights. The single room was small but very clean with a very comfortable bed with two fluffy pillows (single bed); soft sheets and nice duvet. A/C worked very good. Bathroom was large and spotless. Hot shower worked great and nice towels. As is usual in this part of the world - no shower curtain so everything gets wet if not careful. Staff was nice. Cable TV could have been better - no CNN or BBC. Had 1 ESPN channel and only 1 english language movie station and NatGeo. The hotel is in a great shopping area minutes from large malls and stores/restaurants. About a 5 minute walk to the monorail station. Wise to ask hotel for directions as its a bit tricky to find if your not familiar with the area as its down the end of a soi. Hotel is very modern design; and is quiet considering there is a bar and restaurant across the soi. Its a new property I beleive opened in Dec 2011 so it is still fresh and new. Overall if your looking for a good price in a good area its a very good choice.

Stayed here for a night. Clean and nicely decorated. Good location, close by to public transportation and shopping mall. Room is small but enough. No dedicated parking, but you can park in front of the hotel by the roadside and the security guy will put barrier around your car. Speedy wireless internet connection, very easy to use and it's free. Tea and coffee were provided in the room but no water boiler, can't see the point. I checked in late, so didn't bother to ask. Friendly staff @lobby.

The double room is rather small but adequate and cozy enough for two persons. The deco is nice and modern. Cleanliness was average. The ensuite bathroom has everything you may need and it also has a rainforest shower with good water pressure which is very nice. The queen size bed is also very comfortable and nice. TV has limited channels which are different from the usual full subscription you could usually get.

Location is very good. Everything is within walking distance for a good shopping and dining. Just around 5 mins walk to most major malls and even the food street of Jalan Alor is located nearby. Just that it was a little noise in the afternoon because the room faced the busy Jalan Bukit Bintang.

Other than this, it was certainly a plesant stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room which does not face the main bukit bintang road for a quieter room.
