“Good choice for travellers who only need a clean place to sleep and do shopping at bukit bintang”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2012

Stayed in this hotel recently for friend's wedding and shopping trip. This is a new boutique hotel located just at a side road near bukit bintang. if you alight at the monorail, cross the road, and head towards the resturant 'boof' or 'woof' along the main road. the hotel is just behind the resturant. It is just 3-5 mins from Pavilion and Lot 10.

The room was very basic. Flat screen TV (with limited channels), super-single sized bed (with pillow too soft to my comfort), table and chair to put your stuff. You can get water using a small cup from the water dispenser (located on every floor). No place to hand your clothes; only 1 hanger. Excellent connection to their wifi (on each floor).

But the most irriating aspect, that i dun like when they asked me to pay rm100 for room deposit when I was checking-in. wat for? dun know. rm100 is too much and if you pay the deposit via card, they will take 14 days to process your refund to the card... so remember to bring enough cash when you check-in.

Room Tip: They would collected RM100 for room deposit. pls pay cash; if you pay via card, will take 14 days fo...

This hotel was clean and right in the middle of where you want to be when you visit KL. Free wifi and enough power sockets to recharge stuff. Can't fault it apart from the see through shower/toilet. I stayed with a mate and seeing him take a dump through the faintly steamed glass window wasn't a high point of the trip (though we did laugh about it).

Yes the rooms are small but this is a budget hotel, a great place to crash at night. If you are in a city to see the city, you just want a clean room with enough power sockets to charge your gadgets and free wifi.

I stayed with a friend in a twin room and it was more than adequate.

I'll remember the trip way after the memory of the hotel room has faded, just as it should be :-)

...this is the hotel for you!
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was nice and spacious but at the expense of the bathroom. The design of the bathroom was something to be desired... our toilet was in a constant state of 'wet' as the shower was directly adjacent with no dividing wall or glass partition.
On the positive side, the room was clean and staff were very helpful. The location was good as it was close to the MRT. However our room was extremely noisy from the adjacent restaurant and the air conditioner condensors from The Grand Millenium.
Wouldn't stay there again.

Room Tip: Get a room on the west side, away from the Grand Millenium ac condensors.

I chanced this hotel only because it had just opened and surely most of the fittings and room amenities would be clean and new as well. As it turned they are and the bed is comfy and covered with cleans sheets and the AC works like the winds from Antarctica. The toilet and shower is a combo so the whole toilet gets wet after a shower but dries quickly. Be prepared for the smallness of the rooms and everything is minimal but it is in the middle of expensive hotels, shops, restaurants and bustle 24/7. Rates are reasonable for what you get but then location is worth the sacrifice for less of the hotel experience. You get a flat screen TV, bottled water for the day, a small token table and enough space around the bed to walk around in to get to your suitcase. Almost a no-frills hotel which is described as Zen-inspired,but really more Spartan than Zen. It is not that bad and in fact quite comfy for a sleep, shower and a refresh after a hard day holidaying. Just don't spend anymore time inside the hotel or room as there really isn't anything in it to experience.
Just keep the perspective as it is not a 5-star hotel, but certainly surrounded by a lot of them.
I wouldn't mind staying here again for the price and location if everything stayed the way it was when I stayed last. Clean and Comfortable.

Room Tip: Get the most expensive room as it will have more room is space was an issue. Stay away from rooms fa...

The Apple is a nice place to stay, be sure of seeing the rooms before checking in, some are small other even smaller, like a state rooms in a ship with big windows over the city. Having said that, the hotel is comfortable and modern. Located down town near fancy shops like Gucci and Zara and many restaurants. Good place for your Kuala Lumpur trip

We stayed in this hotel shortly after it opened and so had a 50% discount on the room cost. On this basis, we had a great deal and it was worth every penny. The rooms are small but mostly quite clean with a good power shower which was nice. The design is very modern. Each room has a flat screen but it was a bit pointless for us as it was only tuned in to pick up 2/3 asian language channels. You have to get water for tea/coffee etc from the hallway which is a bit of a pain, especially as by mid range standards in KL, this hotel isn't particuarly cheap. Whilst bedding etc was extremly clean some of the communal hallways etc were not. This might just be fall out from the final building works but there were visible dust marks on the floor and debris from the builders.

In room safety deposit boxes provided. There are lifts so if you have any mobility problems this is probably one of the cheaper more accessible options. Hotel staff are friendly and a great help in arranging a late check out etc but slightly 'relaxed' in their assessment of time. We only just made our flight after a relaxed approach to taxi booking!

The big bonus of Le Apple is the location. Perfectly situated for the metro and for exploring Bukit Bintang.

If we were in KL and could get a room for the price we paid this time, I would book without hesitation but on full price rates I think this hotel is probably over expensive for what it is.
