Room

We booked 2 rooms in the same premium category. One of the room was superb with nice view, spacious and modern styled.

The other room appeared to be slightly smaller and lacked the modern stylist appearance. Minor inconvenience experienced was immediately addressed by swift service recovery by their front desk manager Mr Nizam. Goodos to Mr Nizam.

Service

Overall service was reasonable but the hotel seem to be recovering gradually from manpower constraint. Room was made only after 2pm. I believe the service would improve with more staffing.

F&B

The restaurant operates till midnight. We went for late night dinner at 10.30pm. a male Chinese staff reiterated that the food will take one hour to arrive. I am not sure whether he intented to manage expectations or wanted us to explore alternate options.

However, we were delighted by the Ritz Carlton service standard delivered by Mr Jomib. He patiently explained that the kitchen was busy and was extremely apologetic for the long wait. His mannerism, humbleness and service quality really stands out and circumvents any shortfall we encountered during the stay. Mr Jomib also greeted us pleasantly during breakfast and was eager to serve the guests. He tried his best to deliver the best possible service to guests. Mr Jomib reminded me of the service I experienced at Ritz Carlton. Mr Jomib is really an asset to Pullman and can be groomed as their F&B manager. Well Done and Thank you Mr Jomib.

The hotel premise and rooms were clean.

The hotel is located within walking distance to major shopping centres such as Pavallion, Fahrenheit, Lot 10.

Overall

A good hotel to stay.

We stayed in this hotel for seven nights and thoroughly recommend it. It's in a handy location, walking distance to public transport, malls, food courts, Jl Alor night street food market.
We had a room with a king size bed, we had booked for three people so had an additional trundle bed (which was comfortable) installed.
The room and bathroom were clean and maintained so all through our stay. Facilities were great. Bottled water supplied daily, tea and coffee available.
At breakfast, we were spoilt for choice! The variety of food was excellent. We always looked forward to breakfast time.
Staff at this hotel were all super attentive, from the concierge, porters, reception, cleaners, restaurant, pool staff. A special mention must go to Shima, from The Zone which is the games room for the younger guests, who is super friendly and has a great rapport with her young guests. My grandson loved The Zone.
Would definitely come back to this hotel.
