Well worth the 45-60 min round trip from the road. Easy assess by bus or car from Victoria. The perfect hike to break up an island tour or watch the sun come up... Enjoy!

This trail is good for experienced and unexperienced hikers alike. the first 45 minutes of the trail will take you to the first view point, which has fallen into an ill-state, as it once was an excellent place to have a picnic. If you are a little more daring, the photo provided by TripAdvisor actually shows the start of the MORE-EXPERIENCED portion of the trail, as it is steep and requires an additional 1+ hour to reach the top. Many locals have climbed this hill; however, some are still afraid. I recommend you plan at least 4 hours, bring your camera and at least 2 liters of water per person.

It is a relatively easy and interesting trail. You get to see a lot of interesting plants and fruits along the way. We went with a highly experienced guide Mr Basil.

The ascent is gentle, but gets tough at times, and the last 50 feet is particularly steep. You get to see hundreds of Pitcher Plants and Red pineapples towards the end of the trail.

The trail is named "Le Trois Freres" (meaning "3 brothers" in French) because at the end - you get to see 3 rocks which resemble 3 human heads.

Views from the top are amazing. On clear days, it is possible to see Praslin island and La Digue island as well. We got to see an amazing view of an aeroplane arriving into Mahe island from Praslin, and landing at the Mahe airport.

Carry sufficient drinking water and snacks, and wear top quality hiking shoes. Always good to go with an experienced guide.

It rained for few minutes when we were at the top, and that makes the descent slippery. So, if you encounter rains - just stop and wait for rain to finish before proceeding further.
