It's well worth the 90 minutes it will take you to walk this route. If you're arriving by car, drive up the track immediately on the right as you drive up the mountain where you see the sign. You drive through an area of housing, but there is a small parking area at the end. The trail is rough, but not arduous. There are pitcher plants near the top, which are worth the walk alone. When you get to the top, the views of the East of the island are amazing. You definitely need decent shoes, don't try it in flip flops.
