A hotel buffet restaurant in QC in the midst of Mall-andia. We got "free" breakfast buffet in our stay at Seda Vertis North and this is their flagship restaurant. The restaurant itself is laid out well. Whole buffet line on one side makes it easy for the flow of customer traffic. Place is clean and staff --if there is one area I would rate a 5 star- it's the very attentive and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet is basically brunch- scrambled eggs, tuyo, danggit, sinangag, bacon, taho, congee, MTO omelet, etc. and then sushi, tuna pasta, adobo, laksa, pizza, salad, etc. There's even a carving station with roast pork and roast beef. Avoid the 9-10 am hour, one time the wait was so long, we had to skip it. They try to vary some of the food selections which is good. The dinner buffet is also good. Overall, the food is good. Nothing extraordinary. Beverage is included. Cost range from PHP ~1100-~1600. Dinner also features live music and wonderful singer.

Misto is in the new Seda Hotel next to Tri-Noma mall in Quezon City. We went there in a group of eighteen people to celebrate an 18th birthday.

We opted for the set price, all-you-can-eat buffet and were very pleased to find that there was a very good selection of food on offer from sushi and sashimi to traditional Philippine-style lechon and a whole cross-section of Asian food and some Western offerings too. The buffet was being constantly replenished and so the food was all freshly prepared. Hot food was hot!

The dessert buffet was well stocked with many Filipino and Western favourites including twelve different ice cream flavours. My favourites were the macapuno (coconut) and cheese falvoured ice creams, which are classic Filipino flavours. I also ate more than my fair share of Filipino buko salad (fresh tropical fruit salad with slithers of young coconut in a creamy sauce).

We were well attended throught the meal. Staff were always on hand to clear soiled dishes to to bring drinks. They were very efficient.

Since it was our nephew's 18th birthday he was presented with a portion of cake with a candle in it and he was serenaded by several of the waiters singing "Happy Birthday".

A very enjoyable evening was had by all. There are very few decent hotels in Quezon City, so Seda Hotel and Misto Restaurant are very welcome and are likely to be well patronised.
