So far, the best nachos I've had! The nachos are thin and crisp and the taste did not disappoint as well. We also ordered chicken caliente which was surprisingly good too! We also liked the beef skewer! But make sure to tell your server how you want it cooked. The paella I did not enjoy as much but it also tasted good. Overall, it was a good experience and I look forward to going back.
The price was very reasonable too!
If you're going to UP Town Center branch, be there early (before 11am) as the queue quickly builds up.

A restaurant in Marikina my nephew oroginally wanted to eat at was closed so we went U.P. Town Center, having many dining establishments. A quick google search for restaurants showed Silantro to be a top hit.

It was our first to try it and we were satisfied enough that we'll consider eating there if we're in the area.

If you do decide to eat here, come earlier than mealtimes because you will wait! We were a party of 14 and so they had to wait for several tables to finish before seating us. Our wait time was like 30 minutes, at about 1pm, on a Saturday, on a pay-day. No seating available for those waiting. They called a few minutes, before we were seated, to have us order in advance.

Ambience is a bit cramped, super casual, with simple backless chairs (or wide stools?), small-ish tables, loud music, noisy diners. There were bits of food on the chairs when we were seated but the passing server cleaned it as he noticed.

They offer a selection of about 20 dishes total including appetizer and mains. Alcoholic drinks were available. If you're a vegetarian, you won't have enough to eat. The only recognizable vegetable in the dishes are the tomatoes and shredded lettuce. We ordered the beef nachos, chicken wings, paella fajita, grilled pork chops and iced tea. We were all super hungry that no food photos were taken.

I wouldn't classify this as authentic Mexican but it does satisfy the craving. We ordered 3-4x of a specific dish in order to cover the length of the table.

Their beef nacho is the best! The beef pieces, tomato and cheese topping were very generous that there were still some leftover to spread on the remaining nacho chips that were initially hidden deep inside the pile.

The sauce-covered crispy fried chicken wings came with a huge topping of shredded lettuce and more thick sweet sauce underneath.

The paella came in a mini cast iron plate with toppings of mussels, squid rings, shrimps, chicken breast slices, hard boiled egg and a folded tortilla. The ratio of rice to topping was off so we had lots of leftover rice. The seafood topping were definitely fresh though.

The pork chops were grilled perfectly with a side of lemon wedge and green sauce. I would have preferred they serve lime wedges with it though and some sort of vegetable.

We had ordered iced tea pitchers but our glasses had already been filled with service water. Instead of asking for an additional 14 cups, we sort of just waited until we finish the glass of water before having iced tea.

The price ranges for the items were more on the budget-friendly side.

We had an additional take out order of Silantro's quesadilla, Silantro's burrito, chicken and beef soft shell tacos. Again, the serving size and prices were great. I didn't like the quesadilla so much because the fries topping made it less enticing once it gets cold. The burrito was great - no beans (which I liked) filled uniformly with tender beef cubes (some a little chewy because of the cartilage, I think, but still okay for someone who has no dentures and no problem chewing). The burrito was eaten the next day and was still good. Everywhere you slice it, you get a good portion of the beef. One serving of burrito was so heavy! They could use leas shredded lettuce in the tacos though.

So everyone seems to be complaining about the long lines. I'm not surprised because their food is awesome. Ordered tacos and burritos... Flavor is good, and you'll appreciate how they're not cheating you on ingredients! They have good portions of meat unlike in others restos where they drown your food with tasteless veg. Service is also awesome! No wonder 30 mins into opening hours they're more than half full and people still kept on coming. Just one thing I didn't appreciate, the music inside was too loud for brunch so we just dined outside.

Ive been there a couple of times and have ordered the burger, beef taco, chicken wings, quesadilla, and burrito. With the exception of the chicken wings, the food was above par. The food is quite cheap considering the serving size of each. But please avoid going here during lunch or dinner times as it gets super busy that there is a long queue near the door and you'd have to wait for at least an hour sometimes.

So best bet is go a little before or after meal times so you can enjoy fully their food and service.
