“Great hotel, bad music!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2011

The hotel was clean not far from beach , the food was better than we expected, the rooms were small (very small). Everything was great, only bad thing in this hotel was the music, i can't say even if that was music, they play all the time turkish music(i don't have nothing agains the turkish music i love it) but they play only depresiv love songs, you dont enjoy the music you wont to kill youreself:)

we found the hotel to very clean not far from beach and bar street, staff was friendly, maids in everyday to clean the food was better than we expected, the rooms was small so we did have to upgrade for a small charge but was well worth it., the downfall to the all inclusive was no beer for 3 days so only turkish vodka and gin and the bar shut at 11pm. there was not many english there so we did have to put up with alot of turkish music on the night, but we did enjoy ourselves and would recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing holiday.

Small hotel, which we like, 1 min from the beach, 5 mins from shops restaurants and bar street. Staff were excellant, really friendly, food was Turkish (of course) but if your not a fussy eater then you will enjoy it, it was really tasty. Basic rooms, a bit on the small side, but what do you expect for the price. No entertainment, but Erkan, the barman was very accomodating with the music and will play requests for you. Not many Brits there when we went, but the Turkish people were really friendly. A fantastic holiday for the price we paid and we would definately go back. Only tip i would give is take money with you, dont rely on ATM's as we tried all off them along Bar Street and none worked, we had to go into Bodrum to find one working.

I was taken to this hotel for a birthday treat and we had a lovely time. Having read most of the reviews I wondered just what people expected from such a cheap all inclusive holiday. We went with an open mind and having stayed in a budget all inclusive turkish hotel before we expected worse than what we got. The breakfast is continental, if you want a fry up then book a more expensive hotel or venture out to one of the beach bars. The lunch and evening meals were fairly repetative and they have to cater for guests from all over Europe so plenty of salads, chips with everything and 2-3 hot dishes to choose from. We ate at the hotel and had no stomach problems, (that came at the end of the holiday after eating the worst sea breem I've ever had at a beach bar/restaurant).
The lager was cold and refreshing, the Gin and tonic was very nice indeed and certainly not watered down and neither was the vodka. The fruit juices and water you help yourself to, the cola isn't a top brand its their cheap local brand but hey you get what you pay for!
We had a lovely room, spacious and comfortable, cleaned daily and the only time we had any problems with sleep was due to other inconsiderate guests. The staff are friendly and work hard.
The pool and pool area were clean with plenty of beds and sufficient shade, my only concern is that glasses are used by the pool and breakages occur.
I would go to this hotel again and would recommend it to friends, I have only one problem and it is not with the hotel it is the guests that budget all inclusive hotels attract!

went to this dump of an hotel 2 weeks ago believe me im very easy going as hotels go but this was a joke we was all inc if thats what u could call it here's just a few things we had fault with 3 rooms in 3 dayd cause of dirtyness 1st they put 4 of us in a family room when we'd booked seperate rooms they had a dog at the hotel which was laid on the bar and also swimming in the pool. the bar had 3% bottled larger one of the cheapest going the coke they gave you was what i call rola cola you can get from asda for about 15p a bottle the spirits was gin vodka and raki which was watered down we was told they had no draft beer but found out later they had but to save mon ey they gave us 3% crap. the food was that bad after one day i was ill the food one night for tea was hot dog sausages chips stuffed peppers and salad. another night we saw them mixing 2 soups we had a tomato soup one night the night after it was a green soup they just mixed them together hence pinkish soup.they put chicken on one night no other meat and what was left over we saw them picking off the bone and putting into a curry for next nights tea. one night we was going out cause we refused to eat in the hotel and saw the chef cutting some meat up which look like brawn we was out all night when we walked back the meat was still on the side and then they put it out for breakfast. one day the barman was cleaning the glasses from round the pool area and we saw him tip some beer and coke that was left over into the pool another time they was cleaning the bar area they got a bucket of water from the pool cleaned the area then swepted it back into the pool. when we complained all we got was dont speak good english then one day as we was complaining we got a life saver a lady called julie went to complain about her aircon and heard us all complainingshe got sorry no speak good english she said it ok my husband is turkish lol he told them your hotel is disgusting your kitchens are dirty and somones gonna get killed with your kitchen standards your chef i used to work with 7 years ago he got the sack for being dirty. we took him to see our room he went mad we had mould on the roof and walls our toilet was'nt fastend to the wall so it moved when u sat on it the shower head was rusty the shower had black dirt on the walls the sheets was dirty and not changed in 2 days there was a nice lad who worked there called urjon he worked hard but the staff just put on him as for the rest they was useless there was a lot more and i have pics to back up what i have said im taking it further just thought i'd warn other people not to go change hotels if you can.........richard from sheffield

Salinas Bodrum Hotel is in Gumbet which have the best beach in Bodrum. The distance between hotel and beach is 50 metres and the hotel have a very good architecture. Its a new building(only 5 years) and included flower garden. Our hotel is fresh and deal out with friendly staffs.

i had a lovely vacation at this hotel
nice clean room, lovely staff, lots of food to eat not always lot of choice but oke
the towncenter is nearby to go and get a bite if you miss dinner
the pool is big enough, beach is like 1 minute walk from hotel and busses arround the corner every 10 minutes
a nice small hotel where you are a person and not a room number
i will be back next year

Hotel basic but nice, staff friendly, Food ermmm cold meats, salads very turkish, if not there for food with in five mins of times there was nothing left, and was told finish, and to get there earlier. Moris the cheif, did try when we asked for hot pasta and cooked us a hot veggie option.
Two mins from the beach, with plenty of free sun beds and big bean bags to lay on, they do like you to buy a drink ( water 1tl )
Gumbet was busy dispite the gold trail going under. The Brothers bar was great.
