I would not recommend this place for the atmosphere. Located in the basement of one of Ashland's downtown buildings, these place is not warm nor inviting.

But if what you are looking for is a quick lunch of Thai style food, at a fairly reasonable price for Ashland, this is a good place to go.

I will frequently meet colleagues here to talk about the real estate market over a dish of spicy Pad Thai. Quality seems good. The service is generally pretty good, and the people working there are very nice. I think it is probably the owner that greets you at most times, but I am not positive about that.

Not fancy...but it does the trick.

This place is filled with warmth, friendliness and amazing food. The owner's are hard working and dedicated to this small and quaint restaurant. They serve up dishes that are not only authentic but flavored to perfection. I highly recommend this as the BEST Thai place in Ashland.

We were driving from Portland, OR to Monterey, CA and actually planned our departure for an appropriate time to hit Anya's Thai Bistro in Ashland for dinner on our drive down. We lived near the Anya's food cart in Portland's St. John's neighborhood and were sad when Anya's relocated to Portland after feeling as though we'd "finally found a good Thai place in Portland".

Our visit to Ashland didn't miss. The spot is casual - more like a mall food court than a restaurant without a large table for groups but it is warm, the service is friendly, the food is fast and efficient, and the owners (husband and wife) are so warm and generous that it was completely and totally worth the stop.

We will absolutely remember to stop at Anya's on our way north or south through I-5 and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ashland.

This is one of the favorite's Asian restaurants for locals in Ashland. Off the beaten path. Menu prices reflecting the casual atmosphere. More of a Portland experience than a restaurant geared toward tourists. Grab a meal for under $15, buy a PBR for a couple of bucks, enjoy real life happening around you. Spend your money on delicious food, not pretentious surroundings. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team. Caveat don't show up with a party of more than six and expect to sit at the same table. And never, and I mean never order the hot spicy version as mild and medium will suffice and you can always tip some extra hot sauce if you want to eat lava.

We visited Anya's again and noticed that the quality seems to be not quite what it was last year. Panang Curry was on the sweet side but delicious. Drunken Noodles were undercooked and the extra veggies were not worth the 'extra.' Salad rolls are no longer (which is too bad). However service was very friendly and quick.
