Description: LARKS HOME KITCHEN CUISINE celebrates Oregon - its farms, orchards, creameries and wineries - offering dishes that excite and surprise with freshness and flavors. We are passionately committed to offering the most fresh & local ingredients possible. Larks celebrates Oregon's bounty by creating innovative cuisine from scratch, offering a unique dining experience. Our restaurant Executive chef, Damon Jones, is a master in showcasing opulent seasonal ingredients delivered daily from local farms, delighting visitors with the flavors of this amazing region. Larks' kitchen is full of many talented people including two Sous Chefs - Franco Console and Robert Wilson - Pastry Chef Terra Sharp, and many other 'food artists' whose creativity and attention to quality is expressed in every daily special. Dishes like steak, hearty soups, flavorful salads and grilled Northwest steelhead are the most popular. Other specialties include pork chops and apple and caramelized onion fondue. Ingredients like truffle oil, wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, pears, and marionberries layer in the Oregon flavor. Our Pastry Chef's creations depend on what is available that season and include fruit tarts, chocolate cake with housemade salted caramel ice cream, or cranberry-pumpkin bread pudding. Our beverage selection extends the theme of local and seasonal with a choice of herb-infused cocktails made with Oregon spirits, local wines, and beers. Larks' downtown Ashland, Oregon restaurant creates a connection between restaurant guests and our local farmers, ranchers, distillers, and winemakers. Come on in for a taste of local flavor.

Lark's is a beautiful restaurant, excellent staff and an impressive, ever-changing menu. Recently, we were there for lunch and enjoyed the salad du jour it: Was a melange of greens with numerous berries and fruits, a blue cheese, and wonderful dressing. Impressive wine list too. Full bar.

We enjoyed lunch here. It was busy, with a large group being served, but service as very good. My wife had the barbecue chicken salad, and thought it was great. Vi had the grilled shrimp tacos. Three small tacos and a side for really nice spiced beans were very tasty, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more to eat.

Fine dining in Ashland is a nice experience and the special dishes of the day that we opted for were delicious, particularly the steel head trout on its bed of creamy butternut squash accompanied by seared Brussel sprouts. The shrimp and corn bisque was delicious as was the Caesar salad. The dessert strawberry and pear sorbet was excellent and perfect to top such a nice dinner.

My family and I have been to this restaurant before, and we had such a lovely experience that we decided to go to this restaurant again. When my daughter and I were seated there was a presentation from a young lady speaking to guests about whether to be cremated or buried. The young lady went on to talk about the costs of a funeral. My daughter and I looked at each other in puzzlement. I guess our recent backstage tour shifted our mood, and we could not help but laugh at the situation. Of course the restaurant moved us to another table away from the presentation. After our laughter and discussion off the bazaar situation we decided to order our meal. I ordered the special of the day salad, and my daughter ordered the fish and chips. Our other family guest ordered the meatloaf. We had an awesome meal, and we enjoyed the relaxing experience.

We reserved ahead of time for this place - well worth the anticipated wait. The restaurant is inside the Ashland Springs Hotel which is just beautiful. Lovely old hotel right on the main street next to the theatre district. We had lunch and the service and food were exceptional.
