I love it at America on Wheels. When I can, I volunteer there with my mom. Everyone should visit at least once to see how cool it is. Right now they have some cars from the Transformers movies.

As members of America on Wheels Museum, we are able to visit any time and as often as we like. We are never disappointed in the displays, special events and even the manikins are so life like. Bravo to the staff, volunteers for all their time put in to this wonderful place!

We loved this place! We were heading to this area for Vacation and were looking on Groupon for things to do. We found one for America on Wheels ($8 for two admissions). We bought it thinking that for $4 per person we would at least have an afternoon with something to do.

It's not an overly large place but has ample parking, and a couple of hours is really all you need. We really enjoyed seeing the older cars....Model T, horseless carriage era and reading about the different ways of defining who invented the first car.

In one area there was a family car set up with an early pull along camper. As we were traveling in our new (much larger) pull along camper this was especially interesting to us. How they all fit in that tiny thing is something to ponder.

Upstairs there is a changing exhibit of pony cars. Very beautiful to see them all in one place.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Over all we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the museum. We recommend this place to others.

As this is an indoor museum and specific in what it exhibits, it makes for a great rainy day activity. Whether you're an avid car fan or would like to learn about American automotive history, this museum has a lot to offer. Places like this seem to be easily overlooked by those not seeking this specific type of entertainment, but it was indeed an uncommon experience that stands out as a unique memory among other attractions in Allentown. Plus the staff were friendly and showed passion for the exhibits and the history of the museum.

We loved this today, great value for money. Picked up a coupon in the front door area and got but one get one free.

The staff is friendly, and the cars are worth photographing

There's an old soda shop as well but it was sadly closed when we visited.

Great place to go to get out of the rain or other unwelcome weather. All indoors.
