I visited last week after a friend mentioned buying a beer with limited distribution there. Unfortunately, they were sold out. I did meet a friendly guy working there, Dave (not %100 sure the name is right) and he chatted with me about beer etc and made some suggestions. I left happy.

Visited again yesterday and sat at the back bar. Friendly regulars, great tap list, football game on big screen behind bar. Founders Harvest Ale, something by HF , Pinedrops, to name a few.

I had a Harvest Ale and ate a quesedilla. The food was less than stellar and I didn't finish it. I'd try something else next time. I'm really hoping they're getting it right with the food. I saw a woman opening a lot of frozen stuff behind the bar and was a little bummed.

With the setup and the amount of space they have, this could be a really awesome spot. The area could use a bottle shop where you can sit, eat and watch a game. The other places I frequent are missing it because of lack of space.

Thank L K

tough to review this as it's not a bar, and not really a restaurant either, its mostly a retail beer distributor with a classy display case. big selection of mostly private, small label and import selections of things like IPA's, and some draft selections in the back at a mini bar area. staff are available to talk up the varieties and vagaries of how to pick your poison. small area of high-tops to relax and set a while. gets crowded during happy hour where they knock a buck off a draft for all the thirsty drinkers who wander in. Not a fan of all the weird choices in particular and as single selections they come to about what it would be in a full bar or more, but that's what you get for broad selection. They serve little bites of food as well, and in contradiction to what others may have reviewed here, I can firmly state the hot dogs are terrible. wouldnt go out of my way to go here but it was convenient to meet friends. very slow service when busy, one barkeep. Closes kinda early.

Some of the best hot dogs you'll ever have, accompanied by a constantly rotating selection of eight beers on tap and hundreds by the bottle. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Atmosphere can be a bit sterile - it is first and foremost a store after all - but nice and relaxed; a place I feel comfortable bringing my young daughter into for a hot dog.

As it says on the sign this is really a beer shop or as they say a beer shoppe. I suppose it qualifies as an eatery because you can eat some nice salty meats and small sandwiches at the counter in the rear. Staff is very knowledgeable and obviously has a passion for beer. A small variety of DeBruno cold cuts are also for sale. Obviously, the star is the beer, housed in all varieties of bottles in glass cases that run down the sides of the long store. Beer is now the thing with the 20 and 30 something crowds with fancy local and not so local small breweries having a huge run in the USA. I'm not a huge beer dude myself, but go there if you like to hear about this one being "hoppy" and that one being more like an ale and the other one being fruity. These beers are not cheap, but then you are not taking home six packs of Schaeffer ifrom this place.
