The salsa is pretty good. The guacamole is very good. The rest of the food was ok to not good. The enchiladas are tough. They can't be cut with a fork. The chips tasted like they came out of a box from a wholesale store. The service was good. I will it go back and I cannot recommend.

We visited for dinner. There were only about 10-15 people in the restaurant. Most of them were in a group on the complete opposite side of the restaurant - yet the acoustics didn't allow for any conversation with the other couple sitting at our table. The ownership here must do something about this or they will lose their business. This is not a Dallas mid-town "go fast" bar for young people but a nice little restaurant in a small strip center in a suburb that is mostly going to be frequented by families or couples not looking for a loud "night life" kind of place. Sadly, the food was good and the service was as expected, the menu had a wide range of offerings but we and our friends will not go back to Mesa until we hear from others that the noise level is greatly improved. As of our visit, it was intolerable!

This place is always packed, so we decided to give it a try. The chips are thick, but not greasy and the salsa has great flavor. We ordered the Queso Blanco at the recommendation of our waiter and enjoyed it. My fiancé ordered the beef enchiladas and I ordered the beef burritos. We received our food in less than ten minutes. While I enjoyed all the components of my meal, my fiancé found his enchiladas lacking. They texture of the tortillas led us to believe they weren't as fresh as they could be. Additionally, my fiancé never received the beer he ordered. Our waiter seemed put out when he realized that he had to correct the bill and began clearing the table as I was still eating. He seemed more focused on pushing the fajita special than making sure we received everything we ordered.

Good chips, good salsa, and good margaritas: These are the three basics I use to judge a good Mexican restaurant. Mesas's has all three of these, including friendly staff and management. We were a little disappointed with the food, however. The enchiladas were a little tough and greasy. We will probably wait a while before we try it again.

This is a big airy restaurant with a separate large bar.
I ordered the " SPINACH ENCHILADAS
Three corn tortillas filled with sautéed spinach and pico
de gallo, topped with fresh ranchera sauce and sautéed
vegetables. Served with rice." There was an abundance of freshly cooked spinach but the pico de gallo seemed to be missing and I wondered what they meant by ranchera sauce. It definitely needed more spice. I would have preferred the vegetables , Zucchini, mushrooms ,carrots Green Peppers and onions on the side, they didn't go well with or easy to eat with them piled on top of the three enchiladas . The rice was rather bland. The servings are very large the service was excellent
