We've eaten at CB for decades and about 18 mos. ago the biscuits started a downward spiral in size and quality. It seems as though the thickness has been reduced by 50%, with the historical taste taking a nose-dive as well. I've passed this along to each store as a courtesy with waitresses, clerks, and management. The standard response would always be they must have someone new making the once famous biscuits. Even CB Hdqs. provides the same canned response. I find it hard to understand how we continue to experience the same continuing reduction of quality without finding any stores with the "old way" biscuits. Has CHQ's made a decision to reduce costs and are not willing provide a more truthful answer other than "it must be the new people who are responsible"? CB is a GIANT in my eyes that must make financial decisions every day to contain costs...but "Penny-wise and Pound-foolish" could very well apply in this situation.
