“Anticipates every need”

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Tin Guest House and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the Alpine area. The house itself is very comfortable and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a large living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. There's also a comfortable, secluded patio where we had coffee each morning. Each of the bedrooms had an air conditioner as did the living dining area. It can be hot in Alpine and we were very comfortable throughout at the Guest House.

What distinguishes this property is the care the owner has taken to anticipate guests' needs. The kitchen had a full range of cooking gear. There were books, DVDs, games, etc. There were also two bikes (and helmets) on the property and available for use. We took a lovely bike ride one morning and got to know Alpine in a way that we would not otherwise have been able to.

I am confident that if I were to return to Aline, I would stay at the Little Tin Guest House. It met all of my needs and exceeded my expectations.

“Diamond in the rough”

This place is a diamond in the rough. The house is one of the best we have stayed in all the years we have traveled. It was clean and had all the essentials one needed. The owner was responsive to all our questions in a timely manner. We made our reservations thru Tripadvisor with no problems. We would recommend this vacation rental to all our travelling friends. Great place to stay if going to Big Bend, TX. Travelers should plan on doing Big Bend in at least two days with one being the river raft.
