Really enjoyed my stay here. Great hotel with a classy restaurant and bar on the 1st level. Excellent for UT and not far (just North) to downtown Austin.

Front desk assisted with my pre-flight check-in, seat selections on American Airlines and printed tickets.

Use of the Business Center computers are a small fee; free wi-fi for those that bring their own devices.

Parking $14 for all day.

...paying more to avoid a Murphy bed? Not fitting for a four-star establishment, particularly one this size. I agree with the reviewer who said it's "more of a conference center that happens to have a hotel, than a hotel that can host conferences..."

This is a physically nice, well-kept facility, and the service we received at the front desk, valet, and restaurant was great. What this hotel lacks, honestly, is that touch of charm that one starts to look for in accomodations in the four-star and up catagories. It is clean, decorated with a modern edge befitting it's patronage, and it is comfortable. For us, it was also conveniently located, as we were attending a TU basketball game. We walked everywhere once we'd arrived.

However, for this amount of money, plus over $20 to park our car overnight...staying here is probably not worth the price. The bath/toilet area was undersized, and the sliding door between it and the sink/vanity wouldn't close completely. The shared balcony was expansive, and the chairs out there were comfortable. (We had a "Standard King" room on the 6th floor, facing the museum.)

They didn't deliver us the promised cookies that evening, which was weird, since we saw the ladies with them on their cart as we went out...not a critical feature, of course, but not something you'd expect to happen at a hotel where your spending $200 per night for your standard room.

We will probably try a different hotel the next time we're in Austin.

Room Tip: We were in the tower in the 6th floor. It was quiet, and the view, while not spectacular, was inter...

I came for a tour of UT campus and stayed here because it's right on campus. It's located between the tower of Iniversity of Texas and the capitol which I thought was pretty cool. So the location is nice if u want to be by the school they have a lot of small restaurants nearby, convenient. I think it is a bit over priced though. They charge $14 dollars a night for parking. And charge $50 extra a night for using debit cards. It's nice but not as nice as what I would expect to get for what I paid for. Don't think I'll be coming here again.

Attended a two day seminar here and stayed in the hotel. Conference center is outstanding and the restaurant and coffee bar were wonderful. All interactions with the staff were professional and there were no issues. The location was a short walk to several nice restaurants and bars as well as being very close to the UT campus which was a great place to take a late afternoon run.

We spent three nights at this hotel and had a pleasant stay. Room was clean, had nice view of the courtyard, and parking was easy. It was a short drive to Warehouse district and other downtown restaurants. We did not use the fitness facilities in the hotel but for $10/day we were able to access the exercise facilities at the UT Gregory Gym 2 blocks away. Also, we did not have a chance to dine in the hotel. One morning at 6am we were awakened to a strange repetitive noise that continued for 5-10 minutes. The front desk, told us that during times of low occupancy the pipes cause this when the first person of the day turns on the water. This only happened once during the stay and is my only complaint about the hotel. I would stay here again.

I joined 300 or so colleagues attending a large science meeting at the ATT Center, just off the campus of UT. The venue was perfect...we used a large comfortable auditorium, with excellent audio-visual capabilities. The food (both breakfast and lunch were included in the conference fee) was excellent and served in a conveniently located dinner area). The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and quiet with large rooms, a nice view of the UT campus. There was excellent WIFI available through out the facility. There were some good dinner options nearby - many with live music most every evening. A 15 minute walk up Guadeloupe street you’ll find great tex-mex at Trudy’s or nearby is some really good BBQ at Rubys. Good music, good beer and some “interesting” atmosphere can be found at the “Hole-in-the-Wall” (that’s the name!) also on Guadeloupe Street. The main downtown area is just short taxi ride away.
