Had an early Sunday dinner at this Lakeway location. The restaurant has a very cozy feeling and would be perfect for a romantic dinner. The lone waitress did a great job and appeared to be doing everything from bartender to busboy. There is a very extensive menu and we chose the veal di Verona and the Scampi. Both dishes were very good but did not get a top rating because they were both heavily salted. The quality of the veal was excellent. The caprese salad was very nice but the garlic bread was way to heavy on the garlic and was uneatable. We will go back but will ask the chef to ease up on the salt.

On a Thursday night, on the recommendation of a friend, four of us decided to try Verona for dinner. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy, authentic atmosphere and decor. Even though we were there near to the restaurants closing time, the restaurant was still about half full of diners. We were never rushed by our excellent waiter, Tim, and our food was superb; beautifully prepared and served hot and fresh. The owner, Reza, was attentive to the service and customers. We had nothing but praise for this new gem in Lakeway. Don't be put off by its location in a strip shopping area. Everything was top notch and moderately priced.

I had their Scallopini di Verona: veal sautéed with mushrooms, garlic & capers in a white wine sauce that was served with a marvelous assortment of sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms and fresh basil in a garlic butter sauce and accompanied by a side dish of spaghetti marinara. Almost too much food for $12.95. One of our party wanted a gluten free pasta which was graciously prepared for her. Verona Restorante Italino is my new favorite Lakeway dining spot. I encourage you to give it a try; it's definitely worth a visit.

Note: the Trip Advisor address is incorrect. It is actually located at 900 Ranch Rd 620 S, Lakeway, TX 78735.

This was our 5th visit to Verona. While we usually make this a date night location, we brought kids for this meal. Reasonably priced wine, great appetizers, and genuine homemade pasta dishes make this place a must visit. My favorite is the pasta with Gorgonzola sauce, usually with mussels (substitutes available, including lobster). About five minutes from the Hill Country Galleria. Definitely in the discussion for best Italian in Austin.

Just had dinner here on a Friday night. They don't take reservations but we got in easily around 7pm. They do have gluten free options which is a must. One of us had pasta with a Diavlo Sauce and it was excellent. Just enough spice to not overpower and the sausage was good too! I had gluten free pasta with a white clam sauce. I would rate it as average compared to most Italian restaurants in the area. And it's not bad just not outstanding. I would order it again. They have nice wine selections that fit all budgets and a gluten free dessert that you won't be disappointed with if you like chocolate!

We had a late lunch, having met our friends to have a nice QUIET lunch, which shouldn't have presented a problem, since there was only one other table occupied. Not so, as we were seated under a speaker and the music was way too loud. As I have a hearing disability, I politely asked if the music could be turned down. Soon, we were the only occupants in the restaurant, and once again, we requested the volume be lowered. Didn't happen, so we sat and did the best we could, with loud opera music being belted out by some unknown tenor, in Italian. Rude, loud and totally unnecessary, in our opinion.

The others said their food was good, however mine was greasy, had way too much cheese on top, and didn't taste all that good.

I would not go back! Rocco's in Bee Cave is way better.
