Our group of retired school teachers knew right away this was the place for our dinner because the easy listening music was from our generation and not so loud as to disrupt our conversation. Each of us ordered something different, but the dish that had the A plus grade was the chili grilled salmon. It was perfectly flaky inside and crispy on the outside. Most anyone can season salmon correctly, but there was a master chef @ 128 Pecan who knows his/her stuff when grilling salmon just to the point of perfection. The catfish with crab sauce was a close second as "best dish." The night's special of fillet of sole stole the show for its creative sauce. Our server Jack made sure we chose menu selections based on the questions we asked. This was our first visit here, and Jack was well versed on sauces, seafood, and wines.
