We visited Alexandria en route to George Washington's Mount Vernon. We were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate 9 people in our group, without relegating us to a dark corner.
Mission accomplished at the Chart House.
I ordered the fresh salmon, with rice and vegetables, and it was amazing.
My cousin had the she-crab soup with a Caesar salad, and said it was delicious.
The bread was phenomenal, too.
This waterfront restaurant is off the beaten path, but is a hidden treasure.
We would love to return in the future.
