This tiny takeout place is near the metro station. There is a crowd during the lunchtime. But after work, you can sit at the sushi bar to enjoy their specials. The bento box#1 has a variety of tempera, CA rolls, salad, fried chicken, etc. The bibibum is cool considered fast food. Overall you get good value from this tiny store.

Sushi Garden is in the Crystal Underground very close to the Crystal City Metro entrance. The restaurant seats just a handful of patrons at a sushi bar - there are no tables and the restaurant does a healthy to-go business. The basic Japanese menu items are available including sushi, sashimi, and bento boxes. Because of the small size of the restaurant, the selection is narrow, but what is served is tasty. Not expensive.

Visited two time last week, Monday and Tuesday evening. It gets a bit busy from 5:00PM till 6:00 PM but sit down and relax. Great staff, supreme Sushi, exit Crystal City Metro, at the end of the first escalator turn right and walk 30 feet into the Underground mall, for the fastest and best Sushi in the Washington area. Very clean operation,. very reasonable prices. If you don't want to wait,. there are a number of selections available, pre-prepared.

We stopped in at Sushi Garden, just off the Chrystal City metro stop, for sushi after a long day of touristing with. We were a group of five, three adults and two kids. The seating is restricted to four seats at a counter, so we decided to order take out. Adjusting the combination plate to include a couple vegetarian rolls for the kids was no problem.

After he'd taken our order and we'd paid, the chef asked us if we wanted soup and ended up giving us five miso soups. When he finished making our very full platter and we were ready to go, one of his colleagues stopped us to give us a second smaller tray saying the chef made us extra. We were overwhelmed by this kind and generous service.

Fifteen minutes later, we were ready to eat and the food did not disappoint one bit! The rolls were all made with a light layer of rice instead of a thick one, meaning we filled up a little less quickly and got to taste lots of fresh, delicious fish.

The combination platter was heavy on the crab and light on the raw fish for our taste, but everything we ate was delicious. We would go back any day and want to share the good news!
