Good points: The room is big, there is a couch and kitchen for your convenience.

Bad points: The internet connection is lost sometimes. The breakfast doesn't have much selection and the breads don't look fresh. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and it is better to look food outside as there are restaurants and pubs nearby. The windows are not soundproof, so noise and yelling can be heard. Don't use the cups or others tools on the kitchen as most of them are used and not properly cleaned. There is a TV in the room but it doesn't work.

Overall: It is good enough for 1 or 2 nights. the flat was under a renew procedure so maybe it will be better in the future.

Room Tip: Prefer rooms with a router on the floor. Forget the 18th.

I stayed at the Bristol Metropolitan for two very cold nights in June. The hotel is old and the room, incredibly big, was clearly conceived to be residential: two level apartments, with a very big living room with kitchen, along with a small restroom in the first floor, and a smaller bedroom with bathroom upstairs.
What could have been a good characteristic of the room turns out to be a bad one, due to the poor equipment used in the room (that is also poorly decorated). An old 20” TV set is way to small for such a big apartment and there’s no TV in the bedroom. The air conditioning system, which is also a cold/heat model, is too small for the space, too old and too noisy. It was impossible to heat the room to the point where one could turn off the system and sleep peacefully, because it was not powerful enough. And the noise! It seemed an airplane engine.
At the end, I had to choose between a quieter and freezing cold room, or a warmer but extremely noise one. Each night I chose one of them, and slept poorly both nights.
Complimentary breakfast was average and I can´t complain about the staff and the location of the hotel. Maybe if the weather were better……
