We stayed here for three nights while we went to the parks. It was close to the airport so a taxi was inexpensive. The room was large and comfortable. The provided breakfast was very good. We liked that the front desk person knew English and was able to help us. The tour desk in the lobby was able to get a van that would drive us to the Argentina park and then return at the end of the day to pick us up, for a reasonable cost. The driver also stopped at a mercado so we could buy bottled water and snacks for the park. This was greatly appreciated and was also arranged by the tour person in the lobby. (Take note that on your way back from the Argentina falls the road has a very unprofessional looking Tourist Toll stop which was about ten dollars a person, so be sure to leave enough money for this.) The desk also called taxis when we needed them and they were there almost immediately. The wax museum is across the road from the hotel, but we did not go there. The only drawback to the hotel is that it is not close to anything but the park and the airport. So we had to eat in the hotel restaurant each night since we did not have a car. The restaurant was very nice however. The one thing we did not realize when we booked was that there is no elevator and it is a two story hotel. Thankfully the person on the desk helped us carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs (we are seniors). Would we stay there again? Yes, due to the location and the price. It was well worth the money. Oh, we did use the pool. It was on the cool side, but still usable.

We reached IGU excited about our tour the following day and were received by the receptionist at Nacional Inn only to find 'something is wrong with our building so we cannot accommodate you'. We really think it was a classic case to overbooking. Either ways we were told we will be sent to an upscale hotel but in the city (which meant more travel time for the morning) for free. I can't even begin to talk about that 'upscale hotel' Golden Park International omg the bedsheets had holes in them I will stop at that!

Though they provided transport to another hotel etc but that does not justify this last minute cancellation. If there really was a problem with the building then please inform the guests before hand so they can make alternate arrangements and not wait for them to arrive and realise they are being transported to a rather disgusting hotel further away from falls.

Hotel was OK. Front desk folks are NOT helpful. Pretty much every request we made, they washed their hands off or said that they can't help. We need change - sorry, can't help! We need to make a phone call to the US - nope, can't do. Can you put a phone call through and we'll pay? No we can't do... do you know an ATM nearby? Sorry.. no idea. Very annoying. Whatever happened to service with a smile?

Stayed here with a friend for two nights. Room was spacious and clean, staff spoke English well enough to help with directions. The pool and pool bar were great and they have snack style lunch and dinner. Overall a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Nacional for 2 nights so as to visit the Iguassu Falls .
We flew in from Buenos Aires and landed at the airport on the Argentinian side of the Falls . Luckily I had pre booked a hotel transfer from the airport and how glad we were as we had to cross the. Oder from Argentina into Brazil and also get tickets for the National Park so 3 stops in all !
When we arrived st the hotel there was no where to get Brazilian money and ended up paying for a taxi to take us into town ( a cost of £35 )
So make sure you have Brazilian money ( there is a cash machine at the airport but this was empty)
The hotel was average quite clinical in appearance and the rooms are very basic but this is ok as the pool area is lovely and the breakfast was fine .

A big thank you to the wife of the hotel manager as she was so kind and helpful when she picked us up from the airport.
