Beautiful location, good and well organized breakfast, good and nice personal. Included in the room price: kayak and stand up paddle. What's missing: coconut water, better information service (not even city maps are available). Bad cost-benefit, the structure and services do not correspond to the high price.

If you are a diver this THE place to go! If not, this is an excellent place to rest and enjoy Angra Dos Reis. All is great! the staff is very friendly, all services offered by the Pousada are of superb quality. And the dive center is very professional

The dive school I am with visit Angra do Reis periodically. This was my first experience and also my first time on vacation in Brazil. Loved it. We flew into Rio and the hotel arranged for us to be picked up in a mini-bus for the 2 and half hour trip down to the resort. The had a range of rooms, I had chosen a single room, but in the end I got a lovely room, with a balcony and garden view, double bed, en-suite and air-con. Very comfortable. Came with a fridge and cable tv too. Internet in the room was a bit hit n miss, but in other areas of the hotel it was excellent and fast. The friendly staff were very helpful. Our package included the stay, buffet breakfast and evening meal - where the food was to a high standard. Then 5 days of boat diving with local guides. Equipment can be rented there, we took our own. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the dive guides always had a cheery outlook and a smile on their faces. Diving was great, we saw dolphins, turtles, sea horses, loads of fish and coral. We dived a couple of wrecks and the night dive was an optional extra. The last day we had free to explore or hang around the pool. We ended up snorkelling in the bay. Excellent facilities. We wanted for nothing. I didn't ever leave the hotel. The drinks from the fridge/mini-bar were affordable so I never considered venturing out. Other rooms I understand had even cooking facilities. Excellent and well recommended.
