Slightly older hotel built into the remains of an old sugar cane factory. The hotel overall is cosy, clean, with decent service - though not luxury. The rooms are very spacious, bigger than one would expect. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was above average, with various fresh juices and a variety of breads and cakes. It is a good place from which to explore Angra and surroundings.

It is a good test of a hotel to stay there for 3 weeks and I enjoyed my stay here, even though it was for work. The location, next to the marina, in a private residential area is good. My room was a good size, although I think rooms on the lower floors are smaller. As noted in the French review, the air con is noisy and the internet rarely works in the rooms.

I liked the varied choice at breakfast and sitting next to the marina eating as the sun came up was always pleasant. Mt colleagues seemed pleased with the food in the restaurant and there is another restaurant next door. All of the staff were very helpful, even if they didn't al understand English.

The rooms are spacious and well kept. Clean hotel. Service is courteous. Internet is frequently down. A good location if you are working in the Angra region. Breakfast is just ok. Restaurant is average to simple.
