The hotel is well located, a 5 minutes walk away from Metro station. Copacabana is only 10 minutes metro ride away. Good connections for the rest of the city also (Corcovado, Pao de Acucar, center, etc).
The rooms are not fancy, but decent , clean and cover all needs of a good stay. The air conditioning can be a little noisy and wi-fi could work alittle better. The rest is really really good.
The breakfat is amazing with a lot of choices, plenty of fresh fruits, pastry and delicious pao do queijo :) .
The staff was very friendly and helpful, were always smiling were ready to help us and accomodate whatever needs we had. Special mention for Thiago at the reception and one of the smiling guys at breakfast :) .

Overall I would recommend this location and would surely stay there if going back. During our 14 days visit in Brasil , we came to Rio for 3 stays and always returned here. Very good value for money also.

It was an average hotel. The room was small the location not so sure if it was excellent.
I guess on my next visit to Rio I must stay in a hotel on Copacabana so I will feel the rhythm of the city. I must ad though that the staff were nice and helpful but not all were speaking English. The breakfast was average.

Hotel ideal location only a five minute walk to the Flamenco beach.
Easy to catch a bus from the main road just outside the hotel.
Walking away from the beach is a bit of a town with plenty of shops, bars, banks etc..
Hotel was very clean and tidy, daily cleaned.
Room was spacious and had AC, bed was of good sleep quality.
Free wifi and good selection of TV channels (in English too).
Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food.
Food in the restaurant was excellent, i had a meal package so ate every night and was amazed at the quality and cheap prices.
Staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
Not much more to say, try it out !

Room Tip: High up, to avoid traffic noise, try the fish meals

With my wife we spent 4 nights in this hotel. In my opinion the hotel is really worth its price.
Below list of advantages (IMHO):
- very good location: easily you can reach this hotel from both International and Santos Dumont airports. Santos Dumont is just 2 km away from the hotel and from International airport you have direct bus which stops near to the Correia Dutra street where the hotel is located. From this bus stop you can also cath the bus to the Sugar Hill (Pao de Asucar). It is also very close to 2 metro stations (Catete and Largo do Machado). Near to this second one you will find the kiosk with direct buses to Corcovado hill,
- staff is very helpfull and there is always somebody who sepaks english (our room was ready even before the checkin time),
- breakfasts are very good with plenty of fresh juices,
- rooms were equipped with all necessary staff including towels, cosmetics, hairdryer etc.
- hotel taxies available - reliable with competitive prices,
- WIFI available in the whole hotel, additionally in the lobby 2 computers available for guests.

We haven't noticed any disadvantages.
Recommended for everyone.

Pro: We traveled with a group of friends (50-60 years old) and everybody liked the location, the modern rooms, good breakfast, nice friendly staff, and at least one person with good English. The manager was very eager to resolve the problem with one of the receptionist.

Cons: No AC on any floors, no AC in elevators, some rooms have no windows. The receptionist Tiago was absolutely out of this place: unfriendly, arrogant, and lazy. He did not bother to stand; he was sitting while checking us in. On my statement that something is wrong with the AC in our room he rolled his eyes and asked: Did you turn it on? His attitude was like "why are you here, to bother me"?! Very unpleasant and careless guy-he should not be in the hospitality business. He is a disgrace for the wonderful team working at this hotel.
