A completely new experience in Rio for us, miles away from Rio's biggest attractions and crowded beaches. Located in the end of Barra, half way to Recreio and Mangaratiba, offering a peaceful and quiet environment. Great hotel, spacious rooms, brand new, contemporary and beautiful interior design, inspired by Burle Marx and brazilian modernism. Rooms have great views to the sea and/or pool, and a furnished balcony. Excellent beach and pool services, efficient and friendly staff. Three different restaurants: Italian, Japanese and international. Menu choices at the Italian and the international restaurants are a bit limited. The Japanese restaurant offers a traditional menu, no california and cream cheese fillings. Extended breakfast and Sunday's brunch in the Italian restaurant. Efficient room services, breakfast and some other choices offered 24/7. The "downs" are the same points that might be "ups" for some guests: the distance from major attractions and crowded beaches, and the difficult traffic between Barra and Rio, considering that all the promised new circulation and transportation options for the Olimpic Games are still promises.
