This appears to mainly be a commercial hotel as it is away from the centre of Sao Paulo. However it is 5 minutes walk from Faria Lima metro station and some good non-mall shopping streets around the metro and a quick and inexpensive (4 reals,1€) ride into the city centre. Breakfast is a comprehensive buffet and there is a pool and fitness centre on the top floor, not that I tried either.
The only minus point is that the hotel is under the flight path into Congonhas airport which leads to aircraft noise between 6 am and 10 pm. While I was there the approach was over the hotel but I guess a change in wind direction would involve greater noise from take-offs.More
