It's the perfect beach to spend a day and relax. Calm water! You can swim a lot. There's just a few shadows, you should bring an umbrella.
There's an attraction for R$20 that brings you to another near beach for a little time.
There's also a nature walking place that I didn't have been but people talk very well about it.

Come here, it's worthy!

Fun at the beach guaranteed for the whole family! You can relax on the sand, swim on the clear water, go for a hike in the woods, have a snack and drink at the food stand, body boarding, even surfing at times - if you walk towards Maranduba! People are very nice, especially the regulars. If you walk early in the morning you can find a local fisherman with a fresh catch to bring home for dinner. You can even do some shopping during busy times and weekends :)

Perfect fluffy sand. Nice gradual incline to the water (not too steep for little kids). Good enough waves for body boarding. So clean. The water is so clear. Down the beach there are some kiosks (quiosques) but we like to stay where it is a bit quieter.

Clean well maintain by the land lords, example to be followed. Is for familys, nd the "litte pond" name reflects exactly how smooth is the sea, no surfing waves.

A frequent haunt of mine.
4km? long and quite wide and shallow, even at high tide makes this great for kids. Unscathed by bandits or countless vendors makes the experience a sheer delight! Jog the beach and back, trek 2 hours through the Atlantic Coastal Rainforest to Praia Bonete for some private swimming, have some Guaraná with a platter of fresh shrimp and manioc fries in the small native village there, and capture creatures in film all the way back to your rented beach house. Finish the evening with wine on the beach and find the southern cross overhead. Sounds like a good day's work.
