When we did visit the resort with our motorcycle , there was no room available but we badly wanted to stay there for a while. It was the day after, during in a diner in a local restaurant that we randomly met Phare & Yann the owners of the Battambang Resort who then made sure we had a room secured for us.
The resort is located few kilometers out of Battambang on an ex Rice field where they kept some field to grow rice. With 10 gardens rooms and 4 lake Pavilions the resort, is really green with many plants form Big trees to bushes which gives a very sense of privacy the every room.
We stayed in one of the lake pavilions because these rooms with private covert terrace are over looking the lake are just the best of the all Battambang. The rooms offer a daybed with full over bay window of overlooking the lake of Lilly pads and lotus.
The organic pool has jacuzzi and nice laid out in the landscape.
The stall is really professional yet very friendly, accommodating.
Phare took us on local hidden places to taste local food that you would never figured out by your-self if you are not local and know what, where and when to go. Very enjoyable easy end of afternoon food tasting.
Due to all the above, We were meant to stay 2 days and we ended up stay 6 nights so much we enjoyed our-self.
We Highly recommend it.

We stayed here and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. The rooms a clean and well designed. Food is great. The owner/manager was very on top of everything. She was personally involved in details and was very helpful and guided us.
Although the resort is a wee bit out of town it's really a nice place to relax and wind down. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. They have a free service to town if you want to go. The price was very reasonable for what you are getting.

We spent one night in Battambang and regret to not have stayed for longer in this lovely little Hotel. Excellent service, freshly made juices and amazing food with ingredients from their own garden turn this place into a wonderful oasis in Battambang.

Absolutely loved our stay here with our 2 year old son. The rooms are fresh and well presented while being secluded with a tropical feel. Pool was great with a shallow end great for kids sloping into the deeper end. Staff were fantastic and so friendly and the food was great. Would recommend this hotel to any traveller.

Not far out of town is the relaxing and beautifully laid out Battambang Resort. We had a lakeview room, which was quiet and comfortable.

One day we walked to town (less than 1 hour each way) and the next we cycled. It's a quiet town as others have described and we enjoyed coming back to the resort to use the pool then relax on our deck watching the water, birds and butterflies before enjoying dinner.

There is only one word to describe the food - delicious. We chose from the Cambodian dishes and enjoyed them all, especially the fresh vegetables and fruits.

The staff and owners are attentive and friendly making us feel at home. As we didn't have plans for a few days the owners gave us some suggestions and contacted a local driver/guide (Chai - he's excellent) who took us on a 3 day trip to the North.

It was a short, memorable 4 night stay. Thanks!

I'm tempted to keep this lovely place to myself but they deserve the five stars!

I'll start with the one minus: I stuffed up the booking and they were only able to squeeze us in for one night... and we so wanted to stay longer! Not their fault whatsoever and the lovely staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and ensure that we were refunded for the incorrect dates I booked while we sipped lemongrass cocktails in the pretty garden by the pool.

This is pretty much my perfect accommodation. Simple rooms, but with everything designed to feel just right. It's in the little details, like the amount of light coming into the room in the morning, the on-site vege garden that keeps the restaurant supplied with super fresh veges (and fruit for the cocktails), the lovely welcoming pool area (and the fact that they bring ice creams to you around the pool just when the Cambodian heat starts to get a bit much), the comfy beds with reading lights just where you need them, the free bicycles on which to explore the gorgeous local country side. The service was excellent too - warm and helpful, completely hospitable, but without being intrusive. It's pretty, relaxing, comfortable, clean, decent value, and we can't wait to get back.

Room Tip: I expect they're all good (owner showed us the luxe one when we expressed curiosity. It was love...

A little bit out of town however tuk tuks were always available and cost about $2 into town. We did the half day tour with Mr Sambo - awesome trip and well worth it. The staff were the best we encountered throughout our 2 week trip. The rooms are huge and spaced throughout the beautiful gardens. The pool was spotless and the food affordable with plenty of variety. We only tried the Cambodian dishes and they were all fantastic and we loved the fact that they grow most of the ingredients themselves.
Would definately recommend and will go back.

Room Tip: not sure the lake view rooms are worth the extra cost.
