We stopped here for one night on a road trip through the Hexi Corridor. The hotel, built to look like a fort, is in a pleasant part of town. It is clean and well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Inside the foyer is pleasant with an interesting water feature.
We had a good, clean, comfortable room with huge bed and cup of green tea delivered to room on arrival. Eventually found right dining room which was cavernous and, like the rest of the hotel, nearly empty. Menu in English, but Chinese food choice surprisingly limited although meal was ample and very good. Breakfast a rather weird meal but OK with assortment of meats and biscuits on table then eggs, chips, spring onions and toast arriving unannounced.More
