If you want the wonderful view without hordes of tourist, this is the place. About 50mins drive up the mountains then walking up the steps to the mountain. Not a difficult walk, about 15 minutes. Scenery is well worth it. Suppose to be beautiful at sunrise or sunset.

You have to pay the entrance fee to enter and climb up to the platform of Xianggong Mountain. The seven hundred odd steps would be a bid difficult for the elderly but if you reach the top and see the nice views on Li River, you would definitely remarked that it was worthwhile. Recommend to those who want to take photos during their travels.

It was around 1.5 hours of drive from Guilin downtown and the entrance fee was 60 CNY per adult.

The trail upward was rather steep but short. Reaching the top took only 10 minutes.

The scenery was spectacular, as everyone praised. My family especially appreciated that the scenic spot had 4 platforms at different heights so that we may watch the views at various angles.

Down at the entrance there were locals selling kumquats. A full bag cost 10 dollars.

Basically a quiet mountain and not difficult to hike, takes 25 mins up. Nice scenery and amazing view of the Li river and its contours. Not many tourists come up here as it's lesser known and not run by tour buses.

It is a longish walk up to the top but worth every step. The views of the Li River and its surroundings are breathtaking. Looking further inland, you cannot miss the thousands and thousands of kumquat trees covered in plastic foil (which somewhat spoils the landscape). It is the time of the year when the kumquat fruits are protected from the cold and ripen before the upcoming Chinese New Year,
