Having eaten in A Bu Lu Zi in Jiuzhaigou on numerous occasions I was delighted to try the new A Bu Lu Zi on a recent visit to Yunnan. The designer who is also the head chef has surpassed himself with this restaurant. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the food, as expected, is excellent. The service is friendly with a Tibetan song sung to you before leaving by one of the staff.
They also have beautiful hand crafts on sale which are made by Tibetan people who are based in Nepal. They are certainly not cheap but it is a relief to find authentic, high quality hand crafted products made by Tibetan people rather that the rubbish you often find around China all made in Southern Chinese factories.
I look forward to visiting again and bringing more friends with me so we can order more dishes!
