We stayed here recently, and just loved our two nights here in this superb area. The rooms were a good size and we appreciated the warmth of the heated rooms and the good showers! Although this is on the main road, and on arrival we were worried about the road noise, however at night the road is much quieter and was not an issue.
We had excellent communication from the hotel and quick response to our queries.
The dinner here, in our 6 weeks of travel would have to be the best and most memorable. So good that we ate here both nights, the same meal. The trout was AMAZING and all the accompanying vegetables were just a delight. The salad was also one of the best of our whole trip. The plum schnapps, was definitely the best we tasted and we were so sorry we did not buy some for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was also very good.
We got great assistance in suggested walks in the area, and as we arrived mid afternoon we walked to the lakes entrance which took us through the town and woods, we loved this. We stopped on our way home at the ski chairlift bistro for a drink which was fun to do, and we had planned to eat here the following night, but after eating at Meric Inn no way were we going to miss out on eating here...We stayed here recently, and just loved our two nights here in this superb area. We drove through the next day to the Park entrance so as to avoid the uphill walk home, but in retrospect it would have been just as easy to walk back to the hotel as the car park is quite a walk from the park too.More
