Being a solo traveller i wanted to experience relaxing time....
This hotel ticked all the boxes that one expects when they are on vacation...
Nature, food, scenery, forest, birds, spacious rooms with patio, amenities in room etc

The forest walk at 7:30am gives you great start of the day!!

Bicycles are also available

Wifi is perfect ( even though there is no network which is good )

Would recommend 5/5 for this hotel.

Best place for spending time with family. Spacious rooms, delicious food, nature backdrop & friendly staff. Manager Vinayak and other staff members Vishnu, Mani & Jerin were very courteous & worth mentioning. They helped us best in all possible ways like arranging required food n milk for toddler, changing geyser for hot water, arranging local driver for sightseeing etc.
Manager Vinayak took us on a walking trek inside forest in the morning. Although few kms away from Munnar town, located inside forest area, this place is best for people who wish to spend time away from hectic lifestyle and love forest & nature.

When our family decided on a trip to Munnar I had suggested we stay at Dew Drops resort. Fantastic ambience, excellent support staff and well maintained rooms treated us amazingly well. Cardamom trail and the scenic surroundings had given us the much needed fresh lease of life. If you are looking for some time away from the noise and jazz, this is the best place to go to.

Staffs were very friendly.Manager of the hotel, Mr. Vinayak was too good and courteous. I will surely come back again. I literally felt sad while leaving the resort..It's home away from home... Absolutely no complaints...Nature to its extreme. Lovely location. Outstanding food..Very good staffs..

Average hotel for above average price. Room was reasonably clean and the food was ok.

Main issue is it claims to be an environmentally conscious hotel, and even has a sign out of the front saying “this is a plastic free zone”. However, the hotel room was covered with disposal plastic items - even the toilet paper was wrapped in plastic, which was completely unnecessary.

Plastic is unfortunately a problem all over Kerala. There is tonnes of plastic litter in every beautiful location (including Munnar), which is a consequence of there being no solid waste disposal system anywhere in the state - so people have no choice but to throw their plastic in the streets. Whatever you do, DONT BRING ANY PLASTIC TO KERALA WHICH YOU’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE HOME, because anything you leave will inevitably end up in the backwaters, streets, and seas.

It’s a shame that despite claiming to be environmentally conscious, Dew Drops are a part of this problem by providing their guests with so much plastic.

Dear Adam_Bristow,

Greetings from Dew Drops Farm Resort !

At the outset let me start by apologizing for the discomfort caused to you. We have to accept the fact that we should execute our mission statement more exquisitely. All our properties place a greater amount of emphasis on sustainability in a commitment to reduce the carbon footprint and plastic, ultimately help our environment. We have taken this beautiful property a year ago and we implemented tremendous changes for conserving environment from the plastic waste. Dew Drops ceased all plastic water bottles, plastic bins, Waste covers and Plastic foil paper from our property to reduce the plastic pollution. Certainly your review is an eye opening for us. As you have mentioned, we will fix the micro level issues as well in our property.
We use thin plastic cover for wrapping toilet paper to protect the same from the shower water, we have been trying to find a solution for this too. Furthermore we would like to inform you that we collect all the plastic materials from our property and handover to local government body on fortnight basis for recycling.
A bad review is always a shocking experience but we see it as a wakeup call. I would like to inform you that the corrections will be done as early as possible and we seek another opportunity to give you the real Dew Drops experience.
