This holly place is so interesting. make sure you get there at day light and night time as well. i was visiting the temple during a holiday, and the amount of people was unbelievable. don't miss the huge open kitchen for free lunch - great experience, clean and interesting. go to see the kitchen. at night around 9pm, the holly books are taken out to "sleep" - very nice to see.

Most of our party preferred the Temple to the Taj Mahal because it is all about life. Do make sure that you visit the kitchens. What a show of dedication

As you enter, its beautiful every where, well organised and very clean. The devotees taking rest, taking bath in the sarovar, the chants all makes your soul feel relax and calm. The campus is huge. The entry to the main area is via a bridge over the sarovar and it is very well organised as they let people enter in small groups. The morning prayers ceremony is a heavenly experience. A must do if travelling to Punjab during any season.
