We stayed there for 2 nights and it was simply wonderful. The staff were great and supportive. Panviman resort is situated in the belt where you will find clean beach and wonderful surroundings. Our stay was great. It has amazing breakfast and other course meals are also great. The chef went ahead prepared vegetarian food for us which was simply great. The resort also offers you free kayaking and paddle boards so one can take full advantage of the activities provided by the resort. Rooms were big and spacious.

We had unfogettable dinner at beautiful beach setting at Panviman Resort.
Tuna tartar was fresh, good siza and full of flavors. Lamb chops was very juicy and cooked exatly i asked (medium rare) and melted in my mouth. They also let me to choose the size of them which was very nice.
Staff was very friendly, professional and spoke exellent English.
Thank you Panviman team for a great night and definely see you soon again!

Amazing resort. Great location. View from the chalets and from the pool/restaurant is breathtaking. Breakfast is simply delicious. Very professional and helpful staff. Despite the weather wasn't good, it was raining almost every day, we really enjoyed our stay at Panviman and we are glad we choose this resort.
P.S. I forgot my sunglasses there and the next day the staff sent them to me with the speed boat to Koh Samui, free of charge.
We would definitely recommend this resort!

Day 1 of 8 - We are still staying here but simply could not wait to review this gem of a resort so far! We mainly booked this hotel because of its rating on trip advisor. Well, we are not disappointed so far. We arrived last night for a 8 night vacation and had booked a Superior Double Room which is in fact the lowest category of room tariff at this resort. Our journey from Bangkok was arduous to say the least. 12 hours via Air Asia to Surat Thani, a 1.5 hour coach transfer to the port of Donsak and a catermarn from Donsak which was unbelievably unorganised port side and on the boat with monsoon rain and heavy seas made for a wet uncomfortable journey. What a welcoming sight to see our name on a board for our transfer to the Panviman Resort on disembarking the boat. Our driver was standing in the monsoon rains on arrival with a smile greeting us, we were all soaked to the skin but with no question to his own well being took our luggage to load on the bus trying to keep us dryer than him, now that's what I call great customer service. About a 30 minute transfer. On arrival again greeted with a warm welcome by reception staff, handed a welcoming dry towel and offered a cup of a flavoursome fruit juice. Check in took about 10 minutes and then we were taken to our room and shown where everything was and how it all worked.  The reception team could not be faulted in any way, 100% customer service offered. We were allocated room 401 a upper floor sea/pool view room on the end of a wing of four rooms in a row. Great size room with a massive balcony. Complimentary water and fruit offered in the room. Being late we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, again we were not disappointed fantastic menu of a combination Thai/European menu offered with great prices, the food was quit something, we were not left disappointed and the chef even personally came to greet us asking how we were and how the meal was, he seemed genuinely interested in not only us but everyone in the restaurant as we observed him talking to everyone. Waiting staff also very attentive, smiley and just perfect. Day 2 - Simply Wow!  what a georgeous breakfast. 5 star rating given for food quality and variety. We have stayed in quite a few 5 star hotels and resorts in our time and this breakfast did not disappointed. We have a slight problem with our main shower. The water pressure is so low that the temperature cannot be regulated enough to stay at a comfortable temperature it is either too hot or too cold. We informed the reception staff and guest relations manager who is working to fix the issue. We also enquire about possibly upgrading our room a level and was shown a deluxe room, very nice but unfortunately not available for our stay.again superb customer service from the guest relations manager and front desk team overall. I had a really bad experience here.
First of all the hotel is on a mountain and you can not simply walk to the room. You need a driver all the time even to go eat or walk around. It's not nice and not flexible.
The place didn't had the greatest food and not the best room service
(my friend got sick from it).
Not recommend at all.
