I stayed here in a bamboo beachfront bungalow. Everything in the place except for the bathroom was bamboo. Even the door was latched with bamboo and a bike lock.
The resort is very isolated on the east side of the island, so is very quiet and peaceful. There is a very good restaurant there with Thai dishes and burgers etc, fairly cheap, but you can eat right on the beach and watch the boats go past.
The bungalows have a hammock on the balcony and at high tide the water laps at the rocks right below you. It is a magical place and somewhere I can highly recommend for a quiet, romantic stay.
There are several longtail boat tours available to the other islands and you can go to Tonsai bay for a night out, but it will cost about 1500 bht for the boat trip.
There is a bar about 5 mins walk from the main resort.
You can hire gear and go snorkelling right in front of your room.More
