The hotel is not at all what it seems. We were staying at Phi Phi Maiyada, and were dissapointed with the quality of the rooms and the bathroom being so filthy.
The second day out of our 3 days total there was ruined. My sister, 12 years old at the time, was molested by a boat driver we had purchased from Maiyada. The people at the desk rudely apologized and didn't give us a refund or anything. We went to the police, though. We had to go to court for most of the rest of our stay, so it was really ruined. The only thing nice about the place was the pool.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days when i visited Phi Phi Island from 7-10 of march. It was such a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, and the service was just perfect. Great value for money! I Will recommend this to anyone else thinking about going to Phi Phi Island.

me and my friend stayed here for 5 nights during our month trip around thailand! off to a brilliant start when a member of staff is waiting at the pier for you to carry your bags to the hotel. we had a wonderful room.. very spacious, clean and looks right out over the pool! this hotel is in a perfect position with no more than a 30 second walk to the main beach on phi phi and around a 10 minute walk into the centre! the maiyada resort is such good value for money and would definitely recommend staying here!
