Phi Phi Villa Resort

We stayed at phi phi villas for 2 nights and we had had enough after 4hours, all staff on the island are rude and ignorant. The whole island is dirty and smells really bad.
When we got to the villas we booked a deluxe bungalow it was £110 per night and what we got was not what I payed for the paint on the walls was all chipped off, on the floor there was big cracks the bath room was all just concreat coloured and very dull and unclean, the room curtains had what looked like blood stains on them, the doors In to the villa could be opened from the outside, the safe in the room wasn't even secured down anyone could take it we didn't have breakfast cas my stomach couldn't handle it. The only good thing was the pool that was beautiful and the prime beach location stunning. We asked to move rooms and they said they was all full and we couldn't but I only ever saw us and 4 other couples it was that they couldn't be assed with the paper work. I work for thomas cook and I will not be recommending this resort but the one next to it called anderman legacy look and was beautiful.

It is a medium resort in an terrible (for my poin of view) island. The breakfast is not varied and is poor of western food. The tables are not clean indeed.
The swimming pool has clear water but the chairs around the pool are very few.
The bar along the beach in front of the resort as a very poor food and the resturants along the road to the centre of the village send bad smells in the air.
The sewers are open and in the evening you should run with a mask on face

We stayed in a 2 king bed deluxe villa right with a great position on the strip opposite the beach. The villa was large and comfortable but the bathroom was disappointing with a strong sewage smell coming from the sink and poor shower. Breakfasts were ok with egg station which was sometimes staffed and fresh bread and the usual fruits available. The beach bar was excellent, food great and lively at night without being rowdy and the noise did not affect us in our villa. The resort is on the best part of tonsai beach and is located at the far end of the strip ( the better quieter end) . Take a long boat to long beach round the corner for a better swimming experience as the tide does go out in the afternoon just brace yourself for a walk back over a rocky hill or across the rocks as the long tail boats can't sail late afternoon !

Great for families to relax and a base for day-trip activities. Can still hear the music from restaurants and bars along the water walkway, but it's not bothersome at night, thankfully. Our 'Luxury Deluxe Villa', booked on agoda, was good. There was three of us so we booked a double bed and upon arrival asked for an extra bed, which cost 600 Baht/night. The water is cut during the day so the best way to rinse is to jump in the pool, which is clean and has some nice seating area around it. The wifi signal is really poor. We had to stand outside the Internet cafe to get even 2 mins of Internet. Because we were on holiday, this wasn't a major issue. We didn't need it. Just nice to be able to send photos to family and friends. The reception staff could have been a bit more friendly. Maybe they were just tired.

Phi Phi Don is crowded, that's for sure. It's not as breath-easy as Ko Lanta. It's quite developed so you see about six (or more) of every kind of business. We went to PP for scuba diving. If you're not planning to do day-trips and just want to relax on the beach, we probably wouldn't recommend PP. However, there is a nice viewpoint to climb and get some beautiful photos of the island. If you're on a tight budget, PP Villa wouldn't be your first choice.

We stayed there 4 nights. It was really good. The atmosphere is very relaxed, staff cleaning it all the time, wonderful breakfast, lovely swimming pool. Possibility to have a laundry service and staff organizes baggage transport at the pier. Quiet and nice rooms. Bathrooms are quite clean but not perfect.

We stayed 2 nights in Phi Phi Villa. The resort has one of the best pool of the island with sea view through the palm trees. The resort is located at the end of the main beach, so you can get the night life of down town and some privacy at the same time. The bungalows are made of concrete and spacious. The bar next door on the beach (Carpe Diem) is really relax and I enjoyed the music there. If you are looking for a more quiet and wooden bungalow, I recommend the Viking Resort located a bit further south on their private very small secluded beach. (Access by walking, swimming or boat for 100 Bat/person, I used the 3 options!)

This hotel is located on the beach in a relatively quiet part of the island, at stone-throwing distance from the sea. The bungalows are nice and clean, but there is a general lack of care for details. For instance, the lock of our door was not working properly.Sometimes, running water was not available in the whole complex. Our air conditioner got crazy and started spitting ice cubes on our bed, and the management did not bother to fix it properly.
This being said, even if during peak season, the price was way too high.

Next time I'll surely try out something new.

Room Tip: Non-bungalow rooms, although a little more distant from the sea, are newer and equipped with better...
