Our first lodging as part of our 10-day safari. The room (pretty much your own villa) had a large comfortable bed and big bathroom with hot water. It was my first time staying in a tented lodge - it's pretty much a "regular" lodge, with the roof and partial walls that are tented. At night the staff gives a hot water bottle to warm your bed up. Our dinner was off a fixed menu with decent choices. Especially liked the dessert. Server was very polite. There was also a bonfire after dinner, plus a game room/living room.
The best part was the location of the lodge inside the Lake Nakuru park. Early the next morning we spotted a couple of rhino's and many flamingos on our game drive.More
