Two bed room ,three bathroom , kitchen , dining , sitting room and roof terrace. Rennovated to a high standard in classic Moroccan style . Live within the local neighbour hood inside the walls , you get to see and hear all that goes on inside the medina walls , short walk to beach , restaurants, shops , and meander around the lanes anytime Has full kitchen facilties . The manager nearby is a bit lazy , however at least their is one , it may come in handy . For long term stays suggest arranging a Dongle for wifi or bring your own as it is not part of the package. The owner is very helpful and has a very quick response rate which is also great for strangers to a Morrocon Medina. All good here and reccommend this Medina House.
The house must be rated at least a 5 or 6 for charm and esthetics. If you are looking for a place to stay within the Medina walls, that refects old-fashioned Moroccan charm, this is it. We loved it. The house has been tastefully rennovated using traditional Moorish materials. Comparing the house to many old-town rentals we have seen in Spain, it rates high in esthetics.
When that's said, there were some down sides as well. We experienced some problems with the wiring that had to be sorted out. But in our experience, that sort of problem is unavoidable in even the best renovated house in a centuries old Moroccan medina.
The Asilah medina itself is clean and quiet in November, and can be a restful base camp for excursions to Morocco's more exciting venues.
