What can I say! The food was beautifull, it was peacefull and nice. I would higly recommend staying an extra night in the guesthouse itself..because the food he makes is one of the best I ate in Morocco And we eat at many different places:) and the glimps it gives you into morrocon familylife is a gift.
Treat yourself!

Excellent one night camel trek into dunes organized by Dar El Khamlia. We arrived late but it was no problem and our camels were ready to depart into desert dunes even by moonlight. Fabulous experience, great food and hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone whishing to explore the Erg Chebbi area. Avoid touristy Merzouga and head towards little village of Khamlia instead. This is the place for a true and authentic desert experience. You won’t be disappointed!

We can recommend to stay in Dar al Khamlia to everybody who wants to find real life in
Morocco´s desert. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help you when we were sick. Rooms are clean and food is delicious. Great experience!

We stayed in Khamlia two nights and it was wonderful, I never saw so many stars in the sky! It's a quiet place, we had time to relax, we walked around in the sand and we enjoyed excellent food, which Brahim served. Khamlia is totally a good choice compared to Merzouga, where is so many tourists and where is so much hustle.
We also liked the overnight camel trip to desert, beautiful sunset, dinner and night in the dunes were perfect. Really special place to stay!

Room Tip: only two rooms and both are nice :))

Dar el Khamilia is smaller hotel with family atmosphere situated at the quiet place close to Merzouga with view at the sand dunes. The hostility in this hotel is outstanding. The breakfast we got was the ritches we had in Morocco. The trip into desert was just perfect. I can recommend this place for any travellers who prefer quieter places and do not need air-conditioning. Mainly, you get what you pay for. We had a great time there.
