This place is the best: great communication with Eileen prior to our visit, she’s one super hostess with lots of knowledge about everything. The rooms are very clean, the views are amazing and the breakfasts even better.
We’ve stayed at a lot of places over the years, but this one was one of the best ones and we’d love to return here one day. Thank you so much, Eileen and Darrin!

What can I say, have to agree with all the other posters. Eileen is the best host, and runs the best B&B I have ever stayed at.
She will arrange anything you like, if it be a Bicycle or a motorcycle she has the connection where to get them and delivered right to the door.
Breakfast is the best and you won’t go hungry . And the coffee is superb as she roasts her own beans. Can’t thank her enough for what she has done for us and running such a great place.

The room ans the bathroom were very nice. The view from the terrace is wonderful. Eileen, the owner is the sweetest host. She made our stay wonderful, helped us to rent a motorcycle at very good price, arranged our transfers from the airport & to the harbour. Breakfast was homemade organic

Staying at Via Verde was truly the highlight of our trip! You will never find hosts better than Eileen and Darren. This B&B has everything you will ever want. The rooms are delightful and the view is fantastic! It is very peaceful and quiet. Eileen looked after all of our needs from booking taxis to having dinner sent in. Breakfast is huge and delicious. I can't thank them enough. This is a very caring place. We felt that we left as friends. Thanks so much!

La Via Verde definitely deserves its incredible reputation. Eileen went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of booking and travel, even helping take care of us when I hurt my back. The large breakfasts are awesome and you can definitely taste how fresh and local everything is -- I particularly recommend the vanilla yogurt and banana crepes. The location is ideal, close to great restaurants and activities but removed from the main road, with fantastic views of Maderas volcano and surrounded by nature. All the rooms and facilities are very comfortable and modern, and the system for ordering food/taking drinks is really convenient and well-thought-out. We also felt that the system for keeping bugs and mosquitos out of the rooms was very well-designed.

In addition to all this, Eileen is a really charming and passionate host. In a country with a lot of new tourism like Nicaragua, there are a number of hotels and services that seem pretty soulless -- people grinding the gears of tourism to make a living (which is fair enough, to be honest). At La Via Verde we could feel the genuine care that went into everything, and it really made a big difference. Thanks Eileen and everyone else at La Via Verde!
